1.Remember that big cake carrier, the one that’s collecting dust in a closet or cabinet somewhere?  Well pull it out and wash it off!  Flip it upside down and fill it with healthy salad greens and yummo salad choices (cauliflower, broccoli, green onion, mushrooms are a few that do well) and now you’ve got a great “go to” meal after a long day at work.

2.Grill up some chicken breasts, roast sweet potatoes, asparagus, cook a batch of quinoa, and you can be set for the week with healthy options that don’t leave you spending time and money sitting in a drive-thru.

3. The holidays are over, but you can still have sweet potato souffle!  Grab that cooked sweet potato, your vanilla protein powder, throw in some cinnamon and some nutmeg!  Whip this together in minutes with a bit of unsweetened almond milk and BAM-enjoy!  Hot or cold, you’ll make this a “go to” meal!

4.  No time for breakfast-REALLY??!!!  Give yourself 10 minutes on Sunday for this:
   5 containers with lids, 1 fork, 1/2 cup measuring spoon, 1 tsp & 1 TBL-in each container-add the following:
   1/2 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats
1 TBL plain greek yogurt or ground flax seed
   1 scoop of protein powder
   2 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk and stir it all together.
Toss in 1/2 cup of berries (optional) and stir again.
Place lids on containers and set in the refrigerator.  Guess what-you just made your breakfast for the next 5 days!!  All you have left to do each morning is grab it and eat it (cold  or hot).

5. All day we listen.  We listen to an alarm telling us to start our day-the music on the radio as we head to work. We listen to kids, spouses, bosses, colleagues, etc.  But when do we STOP…and listen to ourselves?  You give the world your all-it’s time to give yourself the same!  Focus on YOUR workout-listen as you breathe heavier and be elated in the burning of your muscles.  All your energy-all your strength-YOU ARE WORTH EVERYTHING!
